STI is a movement/label out of East Oakland, Ca. Home base for this movement is the 'Murder Dubs' Section of East Oakland. Each respective artist has their own unique styles and brings a high level of creativity, talent and work ethic to the table. Having them coming together on an album is special and is a legendary move for the history of their movement
Within the project the first noticeable difference is the beat selection. While Oakland rap tends to have its teeth in all American Hip Hop styles, its a point to notice that they went across the board on their sound. This is typical for artist such as Hubba and FULLY, both signed to STI, to have southern club beats with a Cali swag. In this project, everyone on the album showed the reason why music is their calling.
