In the world of hip-hop, authenticity is everything. Some artists fabricate stories of struggle, while others have lived through it, fought their way out, and wear their scars as proof. NiddyBMobbn aka Big Body Mr Miyagi is the latter—a rapper whose journey through the streets, prison yards, and personal redemption has shaped his sound and his mission.

Roots in the Bay: A Story of Two Worlds

Born in Oakland, California, but having lived all over the Bay Area, NittyBMobbn’s upbringing was one of constant movement and adaptation. His father remained in Oakland, while his mother resided in Oakley, giving him a dual perspective on life from both urban hustle and suburban struggle. However, his teenage years took a turn down a familiar path for many young men in the streets—one that led to juvenile halls, jail cells, and eventually prison. With no high school diploma and a rap sheet longer than most would care to admit, Nitty faced a reality that many don’t escape. But instead of letting the system define him, he found his voice where most people lose theirs—behind bars.

Rapping Behind the Walls

NittyBMobbn’s music career didn’t start in a studio, nor did he find his flow over industry beats. His introduction to the artform came inside the prison yards, where he and other inmates would hold cyphers, trading bars as a form of expression, release, and survival. These weren’t just friendly battles—they were a way to sharpen the mind, gain respect, and keep the spirit alive in a place designed to break it. Unlike many rappers who carefully craft their flows over production, Nitty never rapped to a beat in his early days. Instead, his delivery was raw, unrestricted, and built on pure lyrical instinct. Upon his release, he knew he had to take music seriously. He had a story to tell, and hip-hop was his best way to turn pain into purpose.

Musical Influences & The Bay’s Legacy

Coming from the Bay Area, Nitty’s musical DNA is deeply embedded with the sounds of 3X Krazy, E-40, Too Short, and the Livewire movement. These are legends who built their brands off gritty realism, game-spitting, and an unfiltered perspective on life in Northern California. Much like his predecessors, NittyBMobbn carries the same independent hustle mentality, refusing to wait for an opportunity and instead creating his own lane. His music reflects the unapologetic energy of the Bay, but with the wisdom of someone who has seen both the highs of ambition and the lows of incarceration.

Motivations: More Than Music, A Mission

For Nitty, rapping isn’t just about flexing skills—it’s about proving something to himself, his family, and the world.

• “I’m not gonna be a failure. A lot of people talk about it, but it’s different doing it. I’ma put my feet to the pavement.”

• “I want my kids to look back and be proud.”

• “I was a felon, I was on drugs, and I had a story to tell. If I can do it, you can too.”

This isn’t just about making music—it’s about leaving a legacy. His past doesn’t define him, but it does fuel his fire.

The Road Ahead

Now, as he continues to build his name in the music industry, NittyBMobbn is determined to turn his hardships into hits. His story is one of struggle, survival, and redemption, proving that no matter where you start, it’s about where you decide to go. For Nitty, failure isn’t an option. The game is real, the hunger is real, and the music is just the beginning.
