Kam was born in San Francisco, Ca and raised in the Hunters point area of the city. Kam grew up in a single parent household. He and his brother were both raised by their mothers due to their Father always being in and out of the system. With these factors at play Kam had to step up as the man of the house and jumped off the porch in order to help his mother provide for the house. This is when Kam began to make a name for himself.

MY BROTHER SMOKEY WOULD ALWAYS TELL ME TO DROP. YOU CAN SEE HIM IN THE'SNITCH K' VIDEO. I WAS STARTING TO TAKE IT THEREAND THEN SMOKEY PASSED. NOW IM GONNA GET RICH

Killa Kam is making a push for the top and has his section on fire. Within the first couple projects he has been able to gather attention for his aggressive and creative wordplay. Another factor in which contributed to Killa Kams buzz is his purpose. That purpose is his fallen soldiers, and Kam plans on taking 'Smokey Mode' Global.
Kam is going to be a force in the new area of the San Francisco drill music scene. When asked what keeps him motivated he says "Its my little brother, my brother Smokey that passed, and my Grandmother that passed. There the reason I'm still doing this"
